This research aims to identify and analyze Japan's interests in the first amendment protocol ASEAN – Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership (AJCEP) agreement using study of political economy international diplomacy. need for natural resources cannot be met alone. Therefore, needs cooperate with other countries that produce all-natural cheap labor meet their needs. Japanese-owned motive invites questions. The method used this is a descriptive qualitative data collection through literature study. indicates they have economic AJCEP cooperation, but even though politically economically superior, continue work together security politics between ASEAN.
